Evaluating the ongoing Conference Valery Semerikov noted that recently there have been many conferences, both at the international or regional level, and in individual states. “All of them are devoted to security issues with a bias against terrorism and extremism. Of course, they contribute to the development of the ideology of theory and practice in countering this evil, - said the Acting CSTO Secretary General.

“But I want to note that the Moscow Security Conference is distinguished by the level of its organization, representation and scale of the issues under consideration: from countering a wide range of challenges and threats to peacekeeping activities. It is also distinguished by the practical filling of issues related to the localization of the conflict potential existing in the world” Valery Semerikov stressed.
