On October 31, 2025, in Astana, the CSTO Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov met with the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
During his visit to the Republic of Tajikistan, the Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Imangali Tasmagambetov was received by the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.
The CSTO Secretariat delegation took part in the opening of the MAKS-2019 Aviation and Space Salon
27.08.2019The CSTO Secretariat delegation, headed by the CSTO Deputy Secretary General Piotr Tsikhanouski, took part in the opening ceremony of the 14th International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS-2019, which took place on August 27 in Zhukovsky near Moscow at Gromov test-flight institute airfield. The MAKS-2019 was opened by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
During a visit to MAKS-2019, Piotr Tsikhanouski held talks on military-technical cooperation in the CSTO format with the leaders of several enterprises and associations of CSTO member states that present their products at the Aviation and Space Salon, and also watched the demonstration flights of the latest 5th generation fighter planes SU-57 and 4 ++ - SU-35, military attack helicopters MI-28 NM "Night Hunter" ("Nochnoy okhotnik") and KA-52 "Alligator", the largest transport helicopter MI-26T2V and helicopter MI-38.
Along with that, the first flight of the new passenger midrange airliner MS-21 and the advanced SSJ-100-95B were demonstrated at MAKS-2019.
The Aviation Salon combining business, exhibition and flight programs takes place in Russia once every two years. This year the forum brings together more than 800 companies from 33 countries. Traditionally, MAKS is an exhibition of aviation industry achievements and an event at which major domestic and export contracts are signed. The work of MAKS 2019 will be completed on September 1.
