Today, the active phase of the joint exercise with the Collective Rapid Deployment Forces of the Central Asian Region (CRDF CAR) “Frontier-2026” concluded on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During the “Conduct of combat operations” stage, two main training objectives are being practiced: the occupation by the national contingents of the CRDF CAR of the area of responsibility and the destruction of illegal armed formations that have invaded the territory of a CSTO member state.

The CSTO Deputy Secretary General Taalatbek Masadykov addressed the 17th plenary session of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly.
In his statement, he noted that the politico-military situation continued to undergo a profound transformation. The conflict potential is seriously increasing in a number of regions directly adjacent to the CSTO area of responsibility. There are signs of bilateral conflicts escalating into multilateral ones, with global players becoming increasingly involved.
“At the same time, the emerging new centers of power in the world are asserting themselves. This, in our view, testifies to the demand for the formation of a new multipolar world order based on the principles of genuine equality and justice,” the Deputy Taalatbek Masadykov emphasized.
