The CSTO Deputy Secretary General TURGUNBEKOV Mirlan Ermekovich

Born on 3 September 1977 in Frunze. He holds a higher education degree in economic. He is married. From 2000 to 2021, he served in the national security bodies of the Kyrgyz Republic, holding various positions ranging from junior operative officer to Deputy Chairman and Director of the Anti-Terrorism Center of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic. He has been awarded the Certificate of Honor of the Kyrgyz Republic and numerous medals.

From April 2021 to December 2025, he served as Permanent and Plenipotentiary Representative of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Collective Security Treaty Organization. Since 1 January 2026, he has been working at the CSTO Secretariat in the position of Deputy Secretary General of the Organization.
