On 17 April 2026, the 17th meeting of the Working Group under the CSTO Committee of Secretaries of Security Councils on information security was held in Moscow, with the participation of delegations of representatives of national coordinating and competent authorities on information security, as well as experts and specialists from relevant national structures and agencies of the Organization’s member states.

On 16 April 2026, the 21st meeting of the Council of the CSTO Consultative Coordination Center for Computer Incident Response (CCC CSTO) was held in Moscow, with the participation of delegations of representatives of national competent authorities for computer incident response of the Organization’s member states, as well as a delegation of the CSTO Secretariat headed by Umarzoda Umar Safar, Head of the Countering Challenges and Threats Department of the CSTO Secretariat.

September 26, 2017 at 1:00 pm the press room was held at the Russia-Today International Press Center (Presidential Hall) conference with video connection sites in Astana, Bishkek, Yerevan, Minsk, Chief of the Joint Staff of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, Colonel-General Anatoly Sidorov on the eve of the start of joint exercises of intelligence units of the armed forces of the CSTO member states of the CSTO Collective Operational Response Forces CSTO "Interaction 2017" and Mirotvo iCal forces of the CSTO "Indestructible Brotherhood-2017", which will be held from 3 to 20 October 2017 in the territory of Russia, Armenia and Kazakhstan.  

For the first time, all the exercises will be held in the framework of the single concept of the operational-strategic doctrine "Combat Brotherhood 2017".  

The head of the CSTO Joint Staff spoke about the goals and objectives of the exercises, during which it is planned to work out the organization and conduct of intelligence, a joint operation to localize the armed conflict in the Caucasus region of collective security, as well as training and conducting peacekeeping operations by the CSTO Collective Peacekeeping Forces.  

The exercises are conducted in accordance with the Plan of joint activities of operational and combat training of command and control forces and forces of the CSTO collective security system for 2017.
