"

The CSTO Secretary General also held talks with the Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan, at which "issues of increasing the effectiveness of the joint fight against terrorism and the fight against illicit trafficking in drugs and psychotropic substances were discussed," Mr.Zaynetdinov informed.

The issue of settlement in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone was also affected in the Armenian capital. Armen Grigoryan, in turn, presented the situation on the contact line between the armed forces of Armenia and Azerbaijan, emphasizing the need to resolve the Karabakh issue exclusively by peaceful means, noting the importance of the CSTO’s position in this.

The CSTO Secretary General also presented the programs planned and already being implemented in the organization, including the preparation of anti-terrorism and military trainings.
