The Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov received the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the CSTO member states and the Secretary General of the Organization in Cholpon-Ata on June 30. The meeting was attended by the Foreign Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia and Tajikistan.

Safar Umarzoda, Head of the Department for Countering Challenges and Threats of the CSTO Secretariat, took part in a special event (side-event) on "Countering Radicalization leading to terrorism and Extremism" organized by the Russian Federation on the margins of the OSCE Annual Conference on Security Review, where he reported on the measures taken by the CSTO on countering terrorism and extremism, and willingness to share the experience gained.

As part of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory of the Scientific Research Institute (Military History) of the Military Academy of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, together with the CSTO Secretariat, has prepared an encyclopedic edition “Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945”.

The encyclopedia presents modern ideas of military historical science about the main events, phenomena and actors of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 in a scientific reference form.

A significant place is devoted to the consideration of various aspects of the armed struggle on the Soviet-German front, the activities of government agencies and the military-industrial complex of the USSR.

The encyclopedia is addressed to specialists and a wide range of readers interested in the history of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.

The encyclopedia is freely available on the website of the information and analytical publication Allies.CSTO.
