On 21 May 2025, the CSTO member states held consultations by videoconferencing using the communications channels of the CSTO Crisis Response Centre under the chairmanship of the Russian Federation on the theme “On topical issues of arms control, disarmament and non-proliferation” (CADN), in which delegations of the CSTO member states, the CSTO Acting Deputy Secretary General Samat Ordabaev and members of the CSTO Secretariat took part.

On May 19, 2025 in Bishkek, under the chairmanship of the Kyrgyz side, a meeting of the Council of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly was held, during which the Secretary General of the Organization Imangali Tasmagambetov made a report on the theme: “On the implementation of decisions (November 2024) session of the CSTO SCS and measures taken to counter challenges and threats to collective security”.

Delegation of the CSTO Secretariat headed by the Deputy Secretary General of the Organization will take part in the 13th international meeting of high representatives in charge of security issues. The event will take place on May 27-29, 2025, in Moscow, under the chairmanship of Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Sergey Shoigu.

The forum's agenda includes issues of international security cooperation.

The Security Council of the Russian Federation has been organizing an annual international meeting of high representatives in charge of security issues since 2010. The Forum is an important international platform for the exchange of views on all issues related to security in the world and mechanisms for strengthening cooperation between partner countries in combating international terrorism, extremism, transnational crime, drug trafficking and new challenges and threats.
