On April 25, 2025 in the Academy of Management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia took place a solemn graduation of representatives of the senior staff of law enforcement agencies and services of the CSTO member states: the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan, who improved their qualification in the form of specialized training on the topic “Training of personnel and leading specialists for law enforcement agencies and services of the CSTO member states”.
28 April is the Day of Establishment of the Joint Staff of the Collective Security Treaty Organization. We recall that on 28 April 2003. in the city of Dushanbe, the Collective Security Council, guided by the need to establish a military staff body responsible for the implementation of the tasks of the military component of the Collective Security Treaty, adopted a decision on the establishment of the Joint Staff of the Collective Security Treaty Organization.
On 25 April this year, the CSTO Secretariat completed the annual training course for representatives of Collective Security Treaty Organization member states that do not have the status of military personnel.
On 24 April 2025, in Moscow, the Central Museum of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation hosted an international scientific and practical conference organized by the CSTO Secretariat and the CSTO Joint Staff on the theme: “Contribution of the peoples of the CSTO member states to the Victory in the Great Patriotic War”.
On April 22, during a meeting between the CSTO Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov and the MSLU Rector Irina Kraeva, the CSTO Secretariat and the Moscow State Linguistic University signed a memorandum of cooperation. The document provides for the implementation of educational and scientific projects.
From April 7 to 10, 2025 on the basis of the Park-Hotel “Ognikovo” of Istrinsky district of Moscow region, the XXII International seminar-meeting on complex martial arts with the heads of combat and physical training of power ministries and departments of the CSTO member states took place. Andrei Mordashov, Head of the Organizational and Planning Department of the CSTO Secretariat, and Oleg Ufimtsev, President of the Russian Federation of Combined Martial Arts, spoke at the event. The seminar was also attended by employees of the power ministries and departments of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan, as well as representatives of the “Dynamo” Society and the Ministry of Sport of Russia. The event participants familiarized themselves with the techniques and methodological basis of complex martial arts, with the rules of preparation and holding of the XXII International Tournament on complex martial arts for the Cup of the CSTO Secretary General dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, discussed topical issues related to the strengthening of international and interdepartmental cooperation on the applied areas of this type of martial arts.
