Participants in the “Rubezh-2025” command and staff training with units of the Collective Rapid Deployment Forces of the Central Asian Region (CAR CRDF) are redeploying to the Kyrgyz Republic.
Today, the active phase of the joint training with the CSTO Collective Rapid Reaction Forces (CRRF) "Interaction-2025", special trainings "Search-2025" and "Echelon-2025" has been completed in the territory of the Republic of Belarus.
In the Republic of Belarus, at the “Lepelsky” training ground, as part of a special training with the forces and intelligence assets of the CSTO member states, “Search–2025”, intelligence agencies continue to perform tasks in designated areas.
On September 5, in St. Petersburg, at the headquarters of the Organization's Parliamentary Assembly, a working meeting of Permanent and Plenipotentiary Representatives of the Collective Security Treaty Organization countries with representatives of the parliaments of the CSTO member states took place.
The meeting was attended by leading diplomats from the CSTO countries, including representatives of the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Russia, the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as employees of the CSTO Secretariat and the Secretariat of the Organization's Parliamentary Assembly.
"Today's meeting confirms the importance of close cooperation between the CSTO statutory bodies and the Parliamentary Assembly. Working together will improve the effectiveness of the implementation of our projects and create a unified legal platform for strengthening security and stability in the region," Sergei Pospelov, Executive Secretary of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly, said.
During the meeting, key issues of interaction between the CSTO's statutory bodies and the Parliamentary Assembly, as well as the development of the Assembly's Work Program for 2026-2030, aimed at bringing together and harmonizing the national legislation of the Organization's member countries, were discussed. Special attention was paid to expanding cooperation with international organizations and increasing the number of CSTO observers and partners.
The upcoming forum of the chairmen of the parliamentary committees on international affairs, security and defense, which is scheduled for February 2026 in Moscow, was also considered.
