The Chief of the CSTO Joint Staff got acquainted with the actions of the units during the “Echelon-2025” training

Today, in the Republic of Belarus, at the “Losvido” training ground, the Chief of the CSTO Joint Staff, Colonel-General Andrei Serdyukov, got acquainted with the actions of the units during a special training with the forces and means of logistics "Echelon-2025".

Special attention was paid to the practical development of the transportation of material assets in the interests of the CSTO CRRF by a consolidated automotive unit. To protect vehicles from drone attacks, a corridor equipped with masks from nets and air surveillance posts was organized on their way. Multicopters were used to deliver supplies to units operating separately from the main forces.

The Chief of the CSTO Joint Staff inspected a variant of the equipment of the buried command post of the consolidated logistics support unit of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. This element of the training was aimed at improving the practical skills of technical and logistical support units to ensure the survivability of field control points in a difficult operational environment.

As part of the training, an exhibition of promising models of logistics equipment developed taking into account the experience of modern armed conflicts was organized. The presented samples demonstrate the desire of the defense departments to improve their technical equipment and introduce advanced technologies that effectively solve the tasks of technical and logistical support for the CSTO Collective Forces.

A joint training with the Collective Rapid Reaction Forces of the CSTO "Interaction-2025, aimed at working out the issues of preparing and conducting a joint operation to participate in resolving a crisis situation on the territory of a CSTO member state, a special training with forces and means of reconnaissance "Search-2025", a special training with forces and means of logistics support “Echelon-2025” " are being conducted on the territory of the Republic of Belarus.

Contingents of the CSTO Troops (Collective Forces) of the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tajikistan are taking part in the trainings. Among them are military contingents, special forces formations from among the special units of the internal affairs bodies (police), security agencies and special services, authorized bodies in the field of emergency prevention and response, as well as operational groups of the Joint Staff and the CSTO Secretariat. In total, more than 2,000 military personnel and 450 units of weapons, military and special equipment are involved, including 9 combat aircraft and helicopters, over 70 different types of UAVs.
