From 1 to 23 April 2024, the Military Academy of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation hosted the regular IX Training Courses of the CSTO member states for senior staff and leading specialists of defense departments, law enforcement agencies, security council apparatuses, security agencies and special services, as well as bodies authorized to prevent and eliminate emergency situations.

On 22 April 2024, the CSTO Secretariat hosted a working meeting between the Deputy Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, Samat Ordabaev, and the Special Representative of the UN Secretary General for Central Asia, Head of the UN Regional Centre for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia (UNRCCA), Kakha Imnadze.

The meeting of the Working Group under the CSTO Council of Ministers of Defense on the issues of Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics of the CSTO Collective Forces was held via videoconferencing 24.11.2020

On November 24, 2020, a meeting of the Working Group under the Council of Ministers of Defense of the Collective Security Treaty Organization on the Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics of the CSTO Troops (Collective Forces) was held via videoconferencing.
The meeting under the supervision of the Chairman of the Working Group, the Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, General of the Army Dmitry Bulgakov, was attended by the Deputy Ministers of the Defense Departments of the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Tajikistan, the Deputy Chairman of the State Defense Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Deputy Cheaf of Support Services of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia and Colonel-General Anatoly Sidorov, the Chief of the CSTO Joint Staff.
Speaking on the topic of improving the legal framework governing Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics issues of the CSTO Troops (Collective Forces), the head of the CSTO Joint Staff, Colonel-General Anatoly Sidorov, informed the meeting participants about the progress of the domestic coordination of the draft Agreement on joint Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics and medical support of the Troops (Collective forces) CSTO. The document is being developed for the purpose of legal regulation of the organization and implementation of the Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics and medical support of the CSTO Troops (Collective Forces) when they jointly solve tasks to ensure collective security, as well as in the course of joint operational and combat training activities.
In the course of the meeting, issues of payment for military rail transportation through the territory of the CSTO member states in the preparation and conduct of joint trainings in the CSTO format, the organization of repair and restoration of weapons and military equipment of the CSTO Troops (Collective Forces), as well as the results of a special training with the assets of Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics of the CSTO CRRF "Echelon-2020".
Summing up the results of the event, General of the Army Dmitry Bulgakov noted that improving the system of Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics for the CSTO Troops (Collective Forces) was considered one of the most important areas. In the course of the meeting, an active exchange of views took place on topical issues of Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics and comprehensive support, directions for further work to improve the system of Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics of the CSTO Troops (Collective Forces) were determined.
