On June 23, 2026, a ceremonial event was held at the Advanced Training Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation to mark the 20th anniversary of the CSTO Collective Security Council's decision granting the Institute the status of the Basic Educational Institution for Continuing Professional Education of law enforcement and special service personnel of the CSTO member states in the fields of counterterrorism, combating extremism, illicit drug trafficking, illegal migration, and other forms of transnational organized crime, as well as for the training of specialists for peacekeeping missions and teaching staff of educational institutions.

On June 18, 2026, the 24th Meeting of the Interstate Commission for Military-Economic Cooperation of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (ICMEC CSTO) was held in Minsk on the sidelines of the 3rd International Security Industry Exhibition “National Security. Belarus 2026”. The meeting was chaired by Dmitry Stefanovich, Head of the Belarusian National Section of the ICMEC and Deputy Chairman of the State Authority for Military Industry of the Republic of Belarus.

On June 18, 2026, the 2nd Military-Economic Conference of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, entitled “Development of Cooperation among the Defense Industries (Military-Industrial Complexes) of the CSTO Member States: 20 Years of Practical Cooperation”, was held in Minsk on the sidelines of the 3rd International Security Industry Exhibition “National Security. Belarus 2026”. The event brought together representatives of relevant ministries, agencies, defense enterprises, and other institutions and organizations of the CSTO member states.

On August 25, 2020, at the “Patriot” Congress and Exhibition Center within the framework of the “ARMY-2020” Forum (Moscow region, Kubinka), the XII-th meeting of the Coordination Council of the Authorized Bodies of the CSTO member states on advertising and exhibition activities was held.

The meeting was chaired by the Head of the Coordination Council, the Advisor of the Department of Military Security Problems of the CSTO Secretariat Valery Faletorov. The meeting was attended by the representatives of the national parts of the Coordination Council of the Organization's member states.

In accordance with the Agenda, the participants of the Coordination Council discussed the draft Decision of the Interstate Commission on Military-Economic Cooperation "On the List of International Exhibitions held in 2021-2022, where it is possible to form expositions of military, dual use, special purpose products and technologies of the CSTO member states".

In the course of the meeting, reports were heard on the preparation of the International Exhibition of Arms and Defense Technologies "ArmHiTec 2020" (Yerevan), the International Exhibition of High Security Technologies "Arm-Security 2020" (Yerevan), the International Exhibition and Conference on Security "KAZAKHSTAN SECURITY SYSTEMS 2020 ”(Nur-Sultan), the International Exhibition of Arms and Technologies“ KADEX 2021 ”(Nur-Sultan), the International Military-Industrial Exhibition“ DEFINDEX 2021 ”(Bishkek), as well as the International Exhibition of state security means "INTERPOLITECH-2020" (Moscow) and the International Exhibition of Arms and Military Equipment "MILEX 2021" (Minsk).

The participants in the meeting of the Coordinating Council approved the draft business program in the CSTO format at the armament shows held in 2021. The Protocol adopted at the end of the meeting took into account the proposals of the organizers of the national expositions of the CSTO member states for the preparation of international armament shows to be held on the territory of the CSTO member states in 2020-2021.

Development of cooperation in the direction of advertising and exhibition activities is carried out in accordance with the Agreement on interaction in the field of advertising and exhibition activities in the area of military-economic cooperation between the member states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization of October 6, 2007.
